Auf wiedersehen, Klytämnestra

Last night was my final performance as Klytämnestra in Elektra. I love the roles that don’t politely ask but demand everything you’ve got and this was definitely one of them. It was a hard good bye as this has been my favorite role at Linz to date, but I’m sending up a prayer to the opera gods that someday, somewhere, I’ll get the chance to perform this exhilarating beast of a role again!
